Stop me if you’ve heard this, but the U.S. is just not very good at soccer.

Happened upon this game; slow sports time.

What a joke. Most of the crowd is rooting for Guatemala, the scorer for Guatemala was American born; the U.S. looked fortunate outside one dude.

So annoying. Same songs over and over.
No creativity.

STL is the most overrated sports town ever. Well only people from there hype it up so much

My family from STL just came to visit me and they fear downtown STL like it’s a gangland on roids.

They Won’t go downtown at all. Not to soccer games. Not to hockey games.

Either you’ll get shot.
You’ll get clubbed over head and robbed.
Your car will get broken into.
Or your house will get broken into back in the burbs while you are at game.

It was an interesting visit to say the least.

I'm only 20' in now (thanks CHILDREN). But agyemang missing the net on a wide open offside shot is about all you need to know about his performance thus far.

Hopefully you have a beer or a strong drink in hand because you're gonna need it watching him tonight

I missed the second half. Was it a continuation of the end of the first or did we ever get any kind of control back?

Downtown St. Louis is totally safe and fine.
I was there last May, and it’s a fairly average city, but I don’t see how someone can be afraid of it unless they never actually go there and only watch a curated social media feed meant to scare people who live in the suburbs and have a very specific bubble.

It was the worst half of soccer since the Switzerland game, in my opinion.

And Pochetino has used no rotation. A lot of these guys are really exhauste (and most aren’t that good to begin with).

Soccer Board, I ask all of you if I should go to the final.

Keep in mind, with a very limited sample size, I may a huge jinx on the USMNT.

I agree with all this.

My other side of family live in STL also and tell me STL is the same as when I lived there 20 years ago.

I’m just pointing out that’s at least 20 people that love soccer and used to go to a ton of blues and cardinals (both baseball and football) games and rams games.
That are not going to soccer games

I shutdown downtown st Louis back in the day, I think the bars were open until 4am. I didn't think anything of it other than it was a giant shithole. Looked run down. Women weren't that good looking either.

Finished the game. It's sad we have no other option (even with all the injuries and other obligations) than agyemang. He just doesn't have the timing or touch to compete. I'm not sure what de la Torre is good for either. Arfsten has really stepped up and dammit I can't help but like Seb berhalter. He plays with the passion the USMNT needs. Ream is my spirit animal, he gives all us late 30s dudes hope

I'm the opposite I have seen enough of Berhalter and Arfsten to last me quite a while

I didn't like the personnel yet again with so many damn CMs in the lineup. It either dragged Tillman out wide or now you're counting on Luca or Berhalter to provide width and that isn't going to trouble anyone.

Lack of rotation seems to be catching up to this team big time. We were way too open for the entire game and a better team with punish us for that

If there was ever a time where a "jinx" was what it took to lose against Mexico because of attendance vs. results, it pains me to say that this is NOT that time...

I didn't get to watch a second the match last night, but in the previous matches I've been ok with Gregg Jr. this cup.

Other than PK, I think he's been decent. Not sure if he projects to be an actual World Cup roster depth piece though.

Was he bad last night?
