Yeah, I’ve been reading up on his recent stops and it isn’t exactly impressive. But he has taken on some terrible situations.

Poch would be a great hire but I don’t see why he would leave club coaching for us. Benitez is a CL winning manager and we would be silly to say no. Vieira being available makes things interesting but as of last year his focus was staying in club soccer. Maybe this changes his mind? At the end of the day stupid sexy Hervé is probably our best, most realistic, get-able option.

I'm a bit confused about these searches. Why doesn't the USSF aim high like Martinez and always keep a list of guys to go after when an opening occurs? It seems like they're always caught unprepared.
