there is no scenario where that shot should go in without at least coming off the post. matt didnt even come close. he was covering the near post as if the dude was 5 yards away. I generally like Turner, but that’s inexcusable

I agree with the above but I don’t think MLS players were the problem here. Our European “stars” were abysmal except for Adams. Ream was also very good.

Yeah, it is easier than ever for our players to play in Europe. But nothing about this generation seems better than the 2002-2014 timeframe.
