Its amazing how Mexico hates America.
We give them everything and they fight tooth and nail to get here and then put the Mexican flag on their trucks after they've made money in the USA.
The soccer fans are all La Raza (the race) and would be denounced as Nazis if they weren't Hispanic.
Totally racist fanbase that cares nothing for America but the US dollar. And I'm talking the under-40 shiteheads. Not the real Mexican-Americans that have been here for multiple generations...and served in the military or became American citizens.
We've all heard stories that playing at Azteca is like enduring a prison riot while trying to play soccer.
Assimilation has been dead with Mexicans since 40 years.
Its just all Reconquista.
Never understood it. You think your country is garbage, so you risk everything to come here and then celebrate the country you just fled from?
Like I said, that's when you know its just sad racism. They don't want to live in Mexico but fly the flag as some badge of honor. Watching home soil soccer matches in the US can be pretty telling, when the fans are so pro Mexico. Its the only sport where we don't have a home field advantage.

If you type in "Mexican fans throw bottles" in YouTube you get hundreds of hits.
I mean, bottles in every sport, gay slurs, anti-American chants, etc. Makes the Raiders look like a Wimbledon crowd.

Mexico has a lot of racism (as in the "white supremacy" version) because lots of Mexicans are from European ancestry and are racist as shite towards people with indigenous heritage (these are the bulk of the hispanics who come to the US. the shorter, squattier, darker-skinned people).
And if you think the racism is bad towards those from Mexico, Mexico (and vicariously its soccer fans) are 100x worse towards anyone else from Central America. They see themselves as the rulers/hegemons of CA, so they REALLY treat anyone else from the region like legit 2nd class citizens.
Mexican soccer fans are loathed by pretty much everyone. Mexico believed itself to be some real power last generation and would pretend it was on the same level as Brazil/Argentina. They're just incredibly arrogant and loathe the fact that the US is at their level, not even because we are their rival, but more because they hate thinking of having a rival in the first place who isn't the best of the best.

Philly is tame compared to every other place that plays soccer. Every other place has a column of security separating the fan bases. Yeah, you will get a few pieces of shite in Philly, but you will more than likely be fine without having to sit in a sectioned off area. Mexico takes it to another level with the addition of a fence around the opposing fans. When they implement that at the Linc, let us know.

There's a difference between "club and country". Fans that support club teams are different from fans who support their country. The national supporters always amp it up. Lots of "ultras" in with them. All across the world. USA supporters are bad. England supporters are bad. Mexico supporters are bad. Not all "soccer" fans follow their country. They support their team and that's it. I can't stand the US supporters group The American Outlaws and I can't stand MLS. I hate Pulisic above all. Arrogant little twat
