'94. Saw my first and only WC game in Dallas. It was pretty wild from what I remember. Watched so many games on TV that year and strange enough, I don't remember watching the U.S. at all, maybe except for the Brazil game.

Yeah, the press were pissed. They had such a good squad. I remember watching their run in Euro 96 until Oliver Bierhoff crushed them.

Yeah the Euro 96 run was sweet...But Bierhoff was A MAN

Saw every game except the final group stage game.

I knew they couldn't stop Romario and Bebeto tho...

Was starting Brother Martin in the 94 WC. I vaguely remember it.

2006 was first one I watched significant matches. Hated soccer when I was young. I was in PT school with mono and strep so I missed a week of clinicals and watched every match.

2002 was my first one after I started playing in 99. I have the USA v Mexico game on tape still and am still salty about the Germany game. But man did Ronaldo capture my heart with his goals. What a wonderful team Brazil had.

I'm 34 but I recall the World Cup 1994 while I lived in St. Lucia (born in America). That was a crazy summer with OJ Simpson car chase/arrest. I don't remember too much except that Brazil was hyped even in St. Lucia. My first real World Cup viewing experience was 2002 after I graduated h.s. The USA actually made the final 8 and lost to eventual runner-up Germany in spite of a controversial no call on handball by the Germans. I was happy for Ronaldo redeeming himself in the final.

Oddly, I skipped 1998 WC but I became a huge Zidane fan during the 2006 WC run. I was royally pi$$ed with the final.

Brazil seemed unbeatable in that cup, Turkey being their toughest two games oddly enough. Turkey finished 3rd in that cup, great team. I like to read about futbol history and was shocked to hear that Brazil was not considered a favorite leading up to the cup.....just weird. Reminds me of how France was before the 2006 cup.

1998 - I remember watching the final in the hotel room at Disney with my Dad while my mom and sister went off to do who knows what.

Stayed up all night in 2002 to watch USA play all the games, so I remember that whole tournament more.

Didn't watch too much of 2006 since I was working so much and didn't care as much in high school. Watched all of 2010/14 and even got to see USA's only victory of 2014 in person in Brazil.

1974 - I spent my summer vacation out here in Vegas and watched a few matches on closed circuit TV at the Tropicana. One of them was East Germany vs. West Germany. East Germany won 1-0 but West Germany would go on to win the Cup.

1994 for me. Lots of great games and memories. I was in Turkey right before the Tournament started and I remember reading the team guides on Bolivia, Switzerland, and Nigeria in the Turkish newspaper.

First tournament I watched was Euro 92 though. Peter Schmichael les the Danes to victory and we saw the games on Univision

Euro 2000 was at the international house at LSU. They had Setanta PPV.

94. Pathetic

Intentional foul against only decent player. Didn't even substitute. Moron coach played a man down until half.
The attack consisted of a long pass down the side while coby failed to gain control.
Damn.

First I remember was 94.....acid washed jerseys. In 98 I was more of a fan...bought the World Cup 98 video game and played the shite out of it all summer.

2002 was my favorite...staying up late...the Mexico game was insane, and the tension and heartbreak of the Germany match will be in my mind forever.

South Africa World Cup was me getting shithoused the most.
