Brazil / Jamaica 0-0 at the half. Jamaica only needs a draw to advance, Brazil has to win or they are out.

Hate to see Marta go out like this. Enjoyed her play and passion for the beautiful game.

This thread highlights the fact that most American males, feel threatened by powerful women who aren't afraid to raise their voice to stand up for what they believe in. Congrats on being in line with Muslim and middle east nations. Praise be Allah!

No I just don’t like belligerent children.

How many games have you been to?

They will always be one of the best sides in the world, due to the advantages US women have over the rest of world. But they could turn into a women's version of the English men...always one of the 5 most talents teams in any comp, but when they aren't losing to lose to less talented, but more poised teams, they play well but can't get over the hump against the other big boys.

I agree with you when it comes to play on the field but I am talking about interest/viewers/tickets. The difference is that there is built-in interest in the men's team because the players get exposure playing for their club teams/meaningful intl tournaments. Without WC success and to a lesser Olympic success the USWMNT doesn't make a mark or register with anyone outside of the hardcore fan.

The traditional European players will likely rise to the top in QF onward but this group stage is pretty nuts with parity and who is beating who

Even many teams that didn’t advance picked up an unexpected win

It all seems to point to the end of US dominance

She's a decent International level offensive player but her lack of defensive play is GLARING and her ultra 'woke' agenda whining/demanding/victimism is simply a huge drain on the teams' psyche !

Last set of Group stage games at halftime. If the score lines were to not change at all in the 2nd half, Germany would fail to advance
