Big Croatia fan, wore my jersey today at work and they played lights out all game long. Probably a little too lights out. Modric and Rakitic were amazing, the defense, outside of the one slip, were on point. My concern with Croatia going forward is Perisic, while showing flashes of brliiance, just isn't producing like they need him to. But Rebic has made up for that. On the other hand....
Sampaoli is straight garbage as a coach. Terrible subs in both games. Zero tactical awareness, and no clever uses of Messi. Messi doesn't deserve the hate, the entire team is a mess, Aguero and Di Maria aren't showing up and Sampaoli is an idiot. He just paces the sidelines for no reason at all.
Argentina has no chance even if they somehow advance.

Please take this with a grain of salt as I only watch soccer during the World Cup but Messi seemed lethargic and passive. He was just standing around, not trying to get open.

Leaving Icardi off this team was a mistake. Biglia and Mascherano were mistakes. Sampaoli is stupid. Dybala should be starting. It makes no sense to not play him and Messi together. They say their styles are similar but they really aren't.

So if there was a white dude named Nigel and he was good at soccer you wouldn't want to see him on Nigeria's soccer team just because he was white.

ETA: Assume that Nigel was born in Nigeria and has never lived anywhere else ever in his whole entire life. Assume he's never even left his hometown, doesn't have the internet, doesn't even know that other places exist. He's just freaking awesome at soccer and is white.
