Saw some writing that Nigeria has serious money problems with its federation. Talk of limiting callups to the minimum. Flo would be turning his back on lots of endorsements from either England(if he is called) or the US. There is not a huge endorsement opportunity with Nigeria.

Spoke to Flo as we had a lot of pre season together. Knew he had some roots in US. He & I developed a relationship quickly. Be a great addition to our national team. Been great on loan. Decision has to come from the heart.

I don't think that's the case with Weah. That dude grew up in New York. Robinson and CCV grew up mainly in England but had a parent that was actually American.
With Balogun, from what I've read, his parents are Nigerian but were living in America for a few years, but then moved to England not long after Balogun was born.
Musah is the wild one where he had a mom who never really lived in America, just happened to be visiting relatives in New York while she was 9 months pregnant.
