I still have a tough time making sense of his initial inclusion in this camp roster. Like if Sargent wasn't able to make the roster, that doesn't suddenly open up potential minutes for Timmy.

A deal that would send Wes and another Juve player and at least 20 million to Aston Villa for Douglas Luiz is moving toward completion.

A deal for Tanner Tessman to be purchased by Inter and then loaned back to Venezia for a season is nearing completion.

Don't like that. Solid player, but I highly doubt he will ever step on the field for Inter. If anything, I feel like that type of deal would turn into what Miazga's deal with Chelsea was. Multiple loans before going back to MLS.

Utrecht is moving toward finalizing a deal to pick up Paxten Aaronson on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt.

He was named the most valuable player of the promotion playoffs and was the most valuable player on his team. He may never make Inter but his floor is higher than the MLS.

That's awesome. Mark McKenzie was named MVP of Genk when it won the Belgian League, which is about on par with Serie B. Good hardware to show your potential, but by no means is an anointment of what's to come.

So was Miazga's once upon a time.

My point is that going to a big and established club isn't a smart move at all if you are just going to keep getting loaned out.

Getting loaned out seems to have worked for Malik Tillman.

I think it’s a good move for him tbh. The Inter subreddit think he’s a good fit for the system/coach. He’s far more technical than I realized ( Season Highlights).

I’m pretty high on Tessmann. I think he will make a push for a roster spot in 2026. He has a skill set others in the pool do not.

Miazga is a cancer on most teams he’s been a part of. So I don’t think that is a fair comparison.

I’m only comparing the signing to a big club and subsequent immediate loan to lower levels. Obviously if Tessman breaks into the Inter squad in the next two years this is a great move. I’m just skeptical of that happening right now.

I don’t doubt his technical ability, his speed is the biggest thing holding him back right now

I also lowkey hate Dabo

I saw something about that too. Apparently they plan to use him more in the 2 of the 4-2-3-1. New coach sees him as an important piece. Fingers crossed.
