At least it wasn't non-contact, and he was able to fully bend it as he was walking off in his own power.

Early reports are an MCL injury. Hopefully not a full tear.

I looked at the vid of the injury and honestly it doesn’t look bad, frankly I would guess grade 1 sprain with a 6 week PT recovery. Basically stretched, not torn. He wasn’t planted and the mechanism was kind of him pulling out of a kick and the opposing player kicking through his extended leg, torquing the knee. I would be a bit surprised if he tore it completely that way.
