That looks encouraging. Was that Deer Valley? We're supposed to head to DV a week from Thursday, and I have been monitoring the weather and open lifts/trails closely. Seems like the snow from the past week helped them get some of the new terrain open.

Temps look to be heading into the 40s this week, so I hope they can keep some trails/lifts on the new side open. We're staying the the Grand Hyatt and not being able to ski back would be a bummer. That said, our flights/hotel are on points so I can cancel or reschedule if conditions take a turn for the worse.

Snowbasin. They don’t like my kind at Deer Valley

It was still good today, but hard to predict what it will be like in 10 days with no snow. Hopefully they can keep making snow and keep it groomed for ya.

Just wrapped up at Taos Ski Valley...man, that was most difficult mountain I've been on.

You're in good company. My son is of your kind, which is one of the reasons he is not making this trip.

Fingers crossed for snow...or at least favorable snow making conditions.

At other resorts, we quietly talk shite about you boarders behind your back. At Deer Valley, we do it out in the open.

Anyone ever used My Epic Gear?
Looking for some logistics help... and if off-renting and on-renting before and after no-ski days is worth it.

Park City Mountain will host two community dinner and ski nights, Feb. 6 and March 13, offering a $10 meal at Legacy Lodge and $10 skiing; skiing is free for those with an EpicPass, but participants still must register. These two nights are open to the first 500 who register.

Then, on Friday, Feb. 27, the National Ability Center will host its Friday Night Lights Ski-a-Thon event, a special fundraiser helping veterans, service members and their families to continue accessing adaptive recreation. More info on that event is available on the center’s website.

Let's hope so, it's bad here in CO. I haven't even had the urge to go up the hill for some turns yet. Half the terrain is still closed, everyone that booked trips (tourists) are packed into a handful of runs on crap snow, lines are ridiculous, etc.

Hard pass on all that. Hoping for at least a decent February/March at this point.

Didn't know they put in lights. That's cool. Gives another option for night skiing besides powder and brighton. But it's just payday lift so brighton is still gonna be the much better option
