Flying to Madrid in about an hour, I’ll update late. Only need proof of vaccination and the passenger locator form to enter. Locator form takes all of 5 minutes to do on your phone.

Trip for three weeks scheduled for May 2022. Spain is a green country and can only get better.

Spain seems pretty normal compared to last time I was here. Walked around Plaza Mayor and Puerto del Sol this morning and it was packed everywhere.
As far as masks go, I saw a good bit of people wearing them outside, but doesn’t seem they really care inside. Some staff aren’t wearing them, but most people still would to at least enter. No where asked for our vaccine cards, which every place in Italy did.

I was there late summer and it was pretty normal other than wearing masks inside buildings. The apps to get in were pretty easy to figure out, sometimes they misfired and you had to re-do. No test required to get into Spain, but you need one to get back to US (as of september).
If you are in BCN we used this place and it was pretty easy:
"AQB", Carrer Gran de Gràcia, 16, 08012 Barcelona, Spain
