I've had 4 Covid tests this year and each one has come back negative. It's an absolute joke to take and pay for a Covid test before flying back to the US on an international flight. You had a higher risk to catch Covid in the US and spread it here.

Also, the Canadians have some dumb lawmakers. They require a PCR test within 72 hours of arrival and then require you take another test once you drive through the border. They said they'll call you if you test positive. Well good luck finding me at that point you dumb asses! I don't answer random phone calls and I'm definitely not answering while traveling internationally.

Here are my Covid trips.

I was in Singapore, Thailand, and Japan the last 2 weeks of January 2020.

I went to Mackinac Island, Michigan in June 2020.

Took a family trip to Gulf Shores in July 2020.

I went to Zion and Vegas in Sept. 2020

I went to Costa Rica in March 2021.

I went to Quebec, Vermont, and Maine in October 2021.

Only redeeming quality of having DFW as your home airport is direct flights. Otherwise AA eats arse.

Sounds like you’re an island person, PP. How would you compare Bora Bora with the Maldives?

Drove to Montana twice and flew to Colorado twice, Oregon and Washington.

Planning to go to Colorado, Utah, Montana/Wyoming and Canada in the next year. Looking forward to getting to Canada but not so much dealing with some of the covid bs.

As for natural beauty, nothing in the world beats Bora Bora with its gorgeous lagoon and mountain combo. St.Regis Bora Bora was just jaw droppingly beautiful.

But Maldives have much newer, larger, and luxurious resorts than Bora Bora. Waldorf Astoria Maldives was stunning and it's my #1 resort, but Bora Bora as a whole is just on another level compared to any place in the world.

Natural Beauty: Bora Bora 10, Maldives 9
Luxury: Maldives 10, Bora Bora 9
Service: Bora Bora 10, Maldives 8
