That's called an exhibition. Seagal is a legitimate Aikido master. Not even half in the shape he used to be, yet would still wreck nearly all of us. Exhibitions are acting. Remember all the times Walker Texas Ranger took wide open hits? It's basically the same thing. The real Chuck Norris would have folded all those aggressors in half before they even landed a punch.

Yes, he's fat and out of shape. That's the beauty of Aikido. Old men can destroy people, and that's why cops in Japan use it. This is absolutely acting, even worse than when he did it on film, but he can still break most of our joints and flip us around with little effort.

This will do nothing. Those of us who look at this and see very out of shape guy waddling thro0ugh a martial arts display will laugh. Those who want to see Steven Seagal as something other then a buffoon will still laugh but they will try to say he's legit badass. Despite him bravely avoiding challenges from legitimate fighters.
