Four-star weak side defensive end LaJesse Harrold announced his de-commitment from LSU on Thursday night.

The 6-5, 220-pound prospect from Tampa, Fla., originally committed to LSU in June over offers from Texas A&M, UCF, Auburn, Miami, and many other schools.

Florida State is reportedly the favorite to land Harrold.

"He's not that good"
"He's going to the highest bidder"
"I'm glad we didn't pay him"
"Now we have more money for other guys"

Just wanted to help everyone out with the excuses

WHY DOES ANYONE BOTHER WITH COMMITTING???

My interest in college football is really being strained with the unchecked money.

NCAA should consider stepping in to protect their brand. Make it like the NFL pension. All share in it. Not specific to one person.

The NCAA needs to save these universities from themselves. Problem is the barn door has been opened and all of these upcoming families want to get paid and Portnoy and his clown show have set the bar much much higher now.

High school players who commit to a school may never play a down there. All that matters is what you have now and how you compliment from the transfer portal.

Who cares, the transfer portal out gains the signing day now, it's all about the portal to fulfill a teams needs for the short term, it's all about NCs right,,,?

Ole Miss is undefeated, right?? Can’t wait to see their team next year. Just like what’s going on in Tallahassee this year. The portal isn’t the answer for a roster. It is to augment one.

Highest bid this year, highest bid next year, highest bid next year = cancer on a team effort to success

Why pay a kid who waits till week before signing day to play Monopoly money. Better off getting a 3 star that really wants to be at LSU.

My question is. If they’re on NIL do they even have to attend classes.

They don't care about education, Nor does the University for both it's about the mighty dollar , the one's really hurt are the kids who pay tuition , watch that go up.

That's exactly why i say that there should be a rule that if you have an NIL deal, you shouldn't get to have a scholarship

It’s like the guy trying determine which girl to marry. After considering all their qualities, he married the one with the biggest t!ts.
