He's right. Extra playing time, practice time. Lots of teams go to Europe over the summer every couple years to play National squads. It's all about getting better. If a player doesn't want to take advantage of that then they shouldn't be playing.

Well the goal is ncaa tournament champions not NIT champs lol. So if teams didn’t reach their goal it’s understandable they would want to jump start the off season get guys healthy and rest to make a run at the real thing next year .
