Karr has had a nice little recent run but Once they lose this class they're going to be very average for a while.

I want to preface this statement by saying I am in no way a Karr fan. Can’t stand them because they cost my school at least 2 championships, lol.

They’ve been on more than a a lil run. They’ve won 6 titles.

As long as Brice is there, they will be elite. They will never be average with him there, never.

If Brice comes to LSU he will crush New Orleans. Everything that Jabar did wrong, Brice did right. He genuinely gives a frick about those kids, and has deep deep ties all throughout the city.

would be a massive coup to get him to LSU, but a loss for those kids at Karr

As good of a coach as he is.
He is a terrible coach. Karts offense against Catholic was terrible. It was simply “go be a better football player than the other guy”

Now recruiting, yeh he is awesome

After the defensive line haul we just brought in, I'd really rather hire a technician to develop them than just a recruiter in that spot. Not saying Brown isn't that guy - I know nothing about him. But from what I've seen of Richard Anderson he seems a little raw and could use some coaching

I am most definitely a Aug guy. Yall just be on here coming with random thoughts of hiring a coach with no college Coaching experience who has no aspirations of it. Who I know for a fact won’t get on the road to recruit. You can’t just recruit New Orleans. Someone said DL coach when he is the OC and never coached the position before in his life. Oh and newsflash 90% of them kids they send to college don’t do jack shite. It’s the program that they built over the last 20 years….Fact check me if u want!

If he was hired it would be player personnel position. He can't get on the road to recruit but doesn't have to in today's world to make an impact on getting kids to LSU

Sadly you’re prob right but I do expect a significant drop off from the last two seasons. They will reload though I’m sure. And I’m a little salty still that they throttled our asses 53-8 in the dome last year. And I’m an ash homer but seriously though our team last year top to bottom was just as athletic as them. Our coach called the most piss poor game I’ve ever seen. He left the non mobile qb in when we had another that split time that was equally as good and could have given us a chance with his legs. Coach thought he was gonna bang JT Lindsey the entire game right into the teeth of their line. Any armchair coach would know that wasn’t gonna work. Top that off with a horrendous start and zero half time adjustments and it made for an epic arse kicking. lol.

I said when Coach Valdez got hired at Aug he would do great things with them..now if LSU wants a coach with pedigree, knowledge, experience and Louisiana High School ties...you go get Valdez!

I would not hire anyone who cannot coach his position. Kids come to college football to be developed and hopefully get ready for the next level. A good recruiter can get them in the door initially, but, without results, over time they are going to go elsewhere.

has anyone ever replaced Bags' role? Seems like this could be a good role for him

it's not on field but likely a nice pay bump

When my oldest son played youth soccer I coached his 7-8 rec team to two tiitles.

What a coach I was.

Turns out the team, which I drafted because they were his friends, included four kids who eventually were all state at Soccer.

That is Brice. Great athletes but probable not a college level coach.
