Yeah that seems totally unrealistic. My confidence about Fisher is falling a little bit, but the Miles bit seems like pure speculation that runs counter to everything we know.

Deservedly so. Admire him for going all in, but when it fails there's a price

Absolutely. It takes bravery to walk the tightrope, but if you fall....that's it.

I just heard this but i don't believe it at all. Didn't come from the person who told me Jimbo was a done deal. I believe this info is completely FALSE! Just sharing.

Whole thing has turned into a shite show. Trying to repair damage with Miles. But broken beyond repair. Even worse news to come out soon. Slim chance of hiring a top tier coach after recent developments.

I thought Chip Kelly's agent had reached out to LSU? Why don't they just open negotiations with him if Jimbo fell through?

I mean it should have been a clue when people were talking about Jimbo being a done deal, AND having his entire coaching staff already picked out.

Come on guys.

Even if fisher fell through there isnt a chance miles is just allowed to have a new oc and call it a day. People want him out. If fisher fell through then, logically, you move on to the next candidate.

I find all of this really hard to believe.

Miles might be retained, or Jimbo might fall through, but 'sudden developments' that ruin LSU's chances at hiring a real coach?

Sorry, I'm not buying that.

exactly.

I'll start believing something once there is an opening.

No opening= nothing can really happen.

people actually think Jimbo is a done deal while Miles isnt fired while they BOTH coach a game tomorrow? lol

It's jimbo or bust. Guess they don't wanna make a move unless it's him.

You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Whoever is in charge of this shouldn't have put all their eggs in the Jimbo basket.

Jimbo or bust is an unacceptable mindset to have. Cant imagine any big donors would allow that to fly given how fed up everyone seems to be with the trajectory of this program.

Les returns, consolidates power in the athletic department to only his pawns. 10 more years of toss dive.

ESPN has a "Les is gone" video on their website right now.

If Alleva doesn't get ahead of this thing, he's going to get run out of town, even if Miles gets fired.
