LOL at all the left leaning chaps angrily smashing the downvote button over the DEI comments here and on MSB.

Both the coach and the AD at Michigan were DEI hires. Read today the AD will keep his job and lead the coaching search. Does anyone believe if the AD were of another ethnicity he would have a job today after his second scandal?

They hired him because he got really excited after his first win and accidentally cussed in his post game interview. It was so cool how much it meant to him. Such emotion.

Oh, and black.

And for the sarcasm impaired, the first part is of course sarcasm.

Michigan's culture rejects outsiders and this is what they were going to have to deal with if they hired anyone else coming off of a natty.

They only moved to fire him when his mistress came back to contradict her original lies with receipts AND after they loss to Ohio State and were out of playoffs.

Plus signing day....had to clear that hurdle, too.

I think they just wanted to get someone in that spot quickly. They felt he was probably the closest thing to Harbaugh I guess. Good question.

I saw that the Michigan AD was aware of Moore's "mental issues" and still didn't have some type of specialist there when he fired him

They thought they would have more severe sanctions coming and didn't mind letting Moore be the fall guy.

They should've been stripped of the NC.

He was black, they didn’t do any vetting.

That was easy. He was black. If Michigan had conducted a real search for a head coach they could have possibly discovered some of his mental issues and steered clear of him. Maybe but I doubt it. He met the one criteria that they had. He’s black. Another DEI candidate

DEI... when there's like 5 Black HCs in the power 5 conferences ? Under 20 Blacks HCs total in FBS.

Where is this DEI benefitting the unqualified Blacks, shouldn't they have more jobs ?

The Defensive Coordinator of the national championships getting a top tier job isn't unheard of and the players obviously wanted him.

Tomlin and McVay got NFL jobs in their early 30s, some coaches interview really well.

DEI hire, and he's obviously impulsive and emotionally immature. He'll make a good convict some day.

Because of DEI, it is frowned upon to bet black candidates. They are blameless.

No shite. If I am an AD, every time I make a hire I am going to call my sports info director and have them get one of the social-media savvy student workers to look around the www's and see if they can find anything on the new hire.
