I have to admit it, being an “old school” fan who misses the pre portal days, etc, I do feel a tiny bit sleazy. I imagine myself if we were in Ole Miss’s shoes and our coach was going to, I don’t know, bama. It’s the optics of the unfortunate timing. That being said, I love LSU and this football program. I have my real world priorities in order, but my love for lsu sports is up near the top of joy. On paper, Kiffin is the best of available candidates and I want him. Does have a small amount of ick.

Unless he goes to NY. Then no one in the media gives a shite. But, college fans at LSU, Florida and Ole Miss settle into a prolonged case of catastrophe syndrome. The melt would be glorious. For that I might go and travel up to the Meadowlands and catch a game just to express my approval .
