I have absolutely no reason to believe he knows anything, but a Sunday announcement makes perfect sense. It gives OM Saturday to announce he is not returning and for Kiffin to say his goodbyes. It also allows LSU officials to focus on the Oklahoma game.

Everyone was saying this on Friday! Literally there were multiple sources stating this and Ole Miss even posted a letter that day stating they would make an announcement after the Egg Bowl. And you even got that date wrong!
