My question is why would he leave UThug?

This is the only sticking point but supposedly the smoke is from Tennessee and has made its way here so that seems to make it more legit

Tenner Twitter is big mad at him. Completely delusional expectations in what should be a rebuild year for them considering what they lost last year.

Fans starting to get restless, I assume he wants to restart his clock. Which I’m not interested in LSU doing for him.

He would be a great hire for LSU. Huepel has been a winner at every level. His dad was a college coach and he grew up in the film room with him. Won a natty as a player, has won a lot of games at both of his head coaching opportunities. He doesn’t have the horses at UT to win a natty but he would at LSU.

That said, we won’t hire him.

He’s not my first choice obviously, but we could do so much worse than Heupel. Tennessee isn’t exactly the easiest place to win and he got them into the playoff. Offense would be good every year just like it would with Kiffin and Heupel has actually fielded better defenses I believe. I could be wrong on that… but if you can’t get Lane, Heupel would be a really good secondary option.

I really hope we don't go this route. I would be so disappointed if we had a chance to get Kiffin and we went with Jabba.

His offenses score a good bit more than Kiffin’s do and he’s doing it with guys that tend to flame out in the NFL.

That tells me his offense is pretty damn good

Probably not the best year to question your coach who’s mainly winning. Lots of opportunities out there.

Where do you people get this shite from. You panic at any mention of a name no matter how stupid it might be.

He’s a proven winner. He has a playoff appearance and a NY6 bowl. Also a winner at UCF when it was in the American. Would be a great hire if you can’t get Kiffin or Saban.

While I don’t think we will get Heupel, he was in my Tier 1 list and we would have virtually robbed a bank if we could get him….whoever wouldn’t celebrate a Heupel hire is an absolute idiot

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He'd do great here.

His offense would be crazy with the ability to land players like Jefferson, Chase, BTJ, OBJ, Boutte, Nabers, etc.
