If you keep waiting you have to be willing to sacrifice next year to land your guy. You will be behind from a talent standpoint if you miss signing day and transfer window.

Big deals are not played out through statements and press conferences. They are made through mutual agreements and negotiations conducted in a professional manner.

The playoffs start 19th and 20th with 2nd round 31st and 1st. If Ole Miss wins their first round game, Lane will still be coaching the day before the portal opens.
