We might not poach riley, but them acting like lsu is beneath them is hilarious. 3 titles since their last, beating them in 2019 and 2003. Their all time win total is inflated off years of beating up the awful big 8

I don't think it gives them any kind of long term recruiting edge, no.
its not going to get kids in Louisiana or any in general that did not have OU on their radar to suddenly consider them

Urban has titles at UF and OSU. No reason to think he wouldn’t build LSU into a perennial contender with the in state talent they have access to

I live amongst the Sooner horde.
You truly have no idea how much they hate LSU. Like, a complex and utter hatred to the point of being unhealthy and mentally destabilizing. They talk all the crap constantly about Tejas and OkSt, but they lose their minds over LSU. I, in turn, despise them equally.
And since they're staking the board, I'd like to remind them that LSU, the "trash school", has won three national titles since OU won their last title over two decades ago. And two of those titles were won with functional retards as head coaches. What does that say about which school is "trash"? Also, in two of those title runs, LSU won and OU had two of their most embarrassing performances in school history. Oh, the 21-14 game in '04, you say wasn't embarrassing? Your Jason-White-Led, "offense for the ages" was held to 160 total yards. I listened to your crap leading up to that game. It was absolutely insufferable. I had the last laugh, and that one game caused the OU empire to crumble. Since then, congratulations on being the perennial champions of a defense-optional conference, then getting crushed in the postseason.
And for the record, I don't want Lincoln Riley. You can keep him. I prefer Aranda, who has proven that he can humiliate and outcoach Riley.

Riley has literally recruited 3 #1 QBs in a span of 5 classes. Rattler, then a year break, then Caleb Williams, then a year break, then Malachi Nelson. His credibility has no more room to go up lol.
