Yeah for same day business travel. Can certainly argue whether or not it's a good use of University / tax money - but it's not uncommon.

The choices (after TJ Finlgot kicked off the team) were Sullivan, Kadin Semonza (who was MAC Freshman of the year), Donovan Leary from Illinois who I don't think had any playing time there or one of the two true freshmen.
Retzlaff might not be a great quarterback but he can make things happen.

Also, even though his star QB (Mensah) left for Duke, he's back in the conference title hunt again.
I will say he got lucky that the byu qb got kicked off the team and went to Tulane.

Nah solid hire imo if ole miss gets him. He killed it at Troy also. Two stops as a HC killed it at both. Find the right OC maybe keep Weiss. Idk but I think he would keep them relevant
