I still don't get why going to LSU helps Kiffin get back in a HC position in any way whatsoever.

so every thread, you will cover the comments?

that's even worse than the actual comments themselves, and you've been a one man wrecking crew since saturday doing that.

This concerns me a little bit. The boss/friend relationship seems to always end badly.

I dont think going to LSU will help Kiffin moreso with a HC gig than if he stays at Bama. The thought process is that if he doesnt get a decent HC gig this year, he will remain an OC where he can. And that is more than likely to be LSU. His contract with Bama is ending, and LSU will pay considerably more than Bama. Plus, he gets away from Saban to coach with a close friend. Otherwise, I dont think going to LSU helps him any more or less than staying at Bama to ultimately get a HC gig.

I'm just beating them to the punch. I've been right every single thread. Is this board not an echo chamber anyway? So what's the difference?

All evidence says otherwise. We upped Cochran's salary to over $500,000 just to keep him from leaving for Georgia with Kirby. We're already paying Kiffin $1,400,000. Define "considerably more". I would define that as being in the neighborhood of $2,000,000. Second, if Alabama wants to keep Kiffin, they'll give him a raise if they have to. The notion that LSU would pay Kiffin "considerably more" than Alabama is comical.

Yeah Alleva is now known as a bitch made AD amongst the agent circle now for sure. They will with out a doubt take full advantage of that fact from here on out now.

Saban and the Alabama juggernaut is getting credit for what Bama is doing now, not Lane.

Also everyone assumes that Saban is keeping Lane under tight wraps in Tuscaloosa.

Have you seen LSU's offense since Mettenberger left?

If Lane can turn THAT shitshow around he will get and will deserve all the credit.

Have you seen LSU's QB's for the better part of the Miles era? Garbage. If Lane develops QB's here he gets and deserves all the credit.

Get out from Saban's shadow, prove that you don't have off the field issues when not babysat by Nick, make $2M a year and you very well could get a P5 gig without having to take a crap HC job first.

That said, he could get the Houston job or another one that makes all of that irrelevant.

We know, we know.

No one can ever do anything more or better than Alabama in the history of the universe.

We know.

Its bad when you have Sark, Kiffin, Briles, or Applewhite. And Sark would be the moral superior choice!

No need to act childish or butthurt. I'm just pointing out the fact that all evidence points to the contrary of what was posted. Tell you what...instead of talking out of your mangina, why don't you provide some evidence?

So $800,000 more than Aranda will be getting?

i think aranda's new deal will see him get a considerable bump in pay...probably near that 2M mark.

it's no surprise, either...we pay coordinators well. i mean, we fricking paid cameron 1.5 for a few years
