If a freshman-diddler and Farmer Fran can win championships at LSU, Kelly most definitely can. He knew that he could get much better talent here.

Sounds like Brian Kelly was the only coach man enough to take on the SEC West challenge head on, and do it for less money than what he probably could have gotten so it's clear he's ready to win. He's our coach!

What's the use in giving them an opportunity to match if he's mentally done there? He took a market deal to come here, not an above-market deal. This was not about money for him.

Brian Kelly is winning me over more, with each passing moment, it seems, and he hasn't even had his introductory press conference yet. When both sides are clearly motivated to work together, it usually bodes well for the outcome.

Sitting at around a reported $7 million a year, I believe He had to know ND was not going to match $9.5. The only folks in that neighborhood are Dabo and Saban.

Kelly's actions are consistent with what Spears was saying. He left bc he knows he can win NCs at LSU and hasn't been able to at ND.

ND has far more restrictions than LSU when it comes to recruting.
