I call this scripted. Maybe that’s the wrong word, but they already know what’s going to be said before the cameras roll.

I believe, for the most part, that the opinions of the hosts on Gameday, are genuinely their own. The egos and personalities are too big on that show for them to be told what to do/say.

On other ESPN shows, I absolutely believe the opinions are scripted and the personalities play a role, similar to an actor. Everyone sitting around saying yes you're right, I agree with you, doesn't make for good entertainment.

I will say, his idea of eliminating spring practice and moving the portal to May is really intriguing. He also suggested that the last two weeks of June you could have OTAs to make up for not having spring practice. That, along with moving signing day back to February would clean up most of this mess.

Miles should have been fired after the 2011 season. Not crossing the 50 yard line in a championship game and sticking with a shittyQB come hell or high water.

Maybe Saban felt bad beating LSU all those years in Bama. I mean this university did make his career as well. Hope this results in a big decade for us.

GTFO. Les overstayed his welcome and let the game pass him by. LSU should’ve parted ways the previous year.

O will one day have books written about his LSU tenure on how not to handle success.

I have zero issue with canning Kelly. He clearly wasn’t interested in being here and doing the job. The more that comes out makes it clearer and clearer. Why do we care now?

It’s funny because Brian Kelly was relying on the portal when he’s in a position to get pick of the litter in recruiting. Just shows how out of touch and over his head he was at LSU.

partly true but it was way more than that.

attrition from covid, players quitting on him(two interviewed admitted it) because blm and having shite OC and DC in 2021 did him in

Les was at LSU for a long time before fizzling out.

Laughable. Miles had a great run, and if not for Saban, could have won multiple natty's here. He just couldn't adapt to an ever changing game and he just lost his edge. It was gone when he left. His tenure here was not short, ugly, nor was he cast aside as you imply. The man just couldn't compete anymore.

We didn't chew anyone up and "spit them out". You make it sound like we ruined O and Kelly.

Hell, they both ruined themselves to the point that no one else wants to look at them for a HC again.

3 of the last 4 LSU coaches LITERALLY accomplished their ultimate goal by winning a National Championship

I do not disagree with anything Saban said, but…..

He is a HUGE hypocrite because then he turns around and says the big problem in college football is that the players are too selfish now, and all about themselves now. He wants players to not be able to transfer where they could have a better chance of winning, but if a coach does it then it is okay…..

I really wish someone would call Saban out on TV about this ridiculous double standard that he has.
