He’s reassuring the big money people that he’s gonna get who he wants. He’s purposefully keeping it tight lipped.
From people I know, they say all of the smoke about Riley to LSU initially came from Riley’s camp in order to make USC move faster and bigger.
Was Riley a candidate and someone LSU would have taken? Absolutely. Was he ever extended an offer. Not technically. Now that could simply be people trying to save face. Hopefully it’s not and our number one target is still out there and available.

If I was a big $$$ donor and Scott Woodard came to me looking for millions, you better believe he is giving me an update about what his plans are or he can kick rocks.
This "trust me bro" crap may work on the internet but its not reality.
