More details are coming out. As more details come out, more bonus provisions are revealed. Look at the language introducing the compensation amount: "worth at least," "estimated to be," "as much as," etc.

I think things are just being locked up and finalized.
I know nothing inside, but my guess is that money being equal, LSU is the easier job. LSU just has to pay market value for it's recruiting base, while Florida still has to fend off Miami and Fla State in-state.
But I think Florida had him if we hadn't jumped in when we did. I think feelers were put out, and Kelly was canned when we got the response.
BTW, Finch- which way did you go with the 9? Epc, or FM? I got both
