I went to the PSV Eindhoven game today

Took a few pics and figured I would share with the board.
Game ended 4-2 to PSV. I missed the first goal because I was getting beer and it was in the first minute
I didn’t learn my lesson and got a beer in the 45th minute to beat the crowd and missed their third goal
Beautiful stadium and pitch. We walked there from an area where we had lunch and some drinks. Tons of people all walking together to the game, which was cool. And a lot of bikes of course. Overall a solid atmosphere. People were friendly and no one got pushy like you sometimes see in crowds here. Beer and wine was reasonably priced (like 5 euros for a 16 ounce beer).
They had pictures of former players like this all around the stadium. I was surprised to see run DMB considering he was only there for like 2-3 years, but he did play a solid role for them in the CL from what I understand.
This is kind of funny/weird to me- the Dutch use these four way urinal things that leave you pretty exposed. I’m not sure if there is supposed to be some pee containment apparatus but it looks like it just goes into the grass and road. It was funny watching which people jumped over the pee stream and which just said f it and walked through it.
One of many bike parking lots. They literally have multi floor bike garages here, which is awesome. Be careful crossing the street though, because once you do you then have to cross the bike path and can get hit if you aren’t careful.
Highlight of the match was seeing Richie Ledezma take a whopping one touch with his 3 minutes on the field, leading to a corner. No actually it was good to see him get some playing time but some of the fans were complaining that he should have come on way earlier since PSV were controlling the game. The little girl and boy sitting right behind me were apparently big Ledezma fans and kept chanting his name every time there was about to be a sub. They cheered louder than they did for the goals when he came on
Super random but also awesome to see the fans take such a liking to an American player who really hasn’t been able to show them his full potential due to injuries.
I also highly recommend going to Amsterdam (or any big city in the Netherlands) for King’s day. It’s like their version of Mardi Gras, with lots of awesome live music, food, and drinks (and coffee shops) but minus the smell of pee, stale beer, and horse shite everywhere.

One example of Dutch engineering that needs to stay far away from NOLA

There's piss all over NOLA anyway, might as well have convenient spots for multiple people.

I would be lying if I said I never used one. They are actually super convenient and great for mass events, you just have to get over being a little pee shy.

Yeah I don’t want people knowing how long it takes me to pee.
Hard pass.
Plus I would feel weird about checking Instagram while using that thing.
