this is the local parks Dress Code in BR...
C. Dress Code
1. Shirts and shoes must be worn in the clubhouses and on golf course property at all times. Men’s shirts must have sleeves. At Beaver Creek and Santa Maria shirts must have collars. Mock turtleneck shirts are acceptable attire.
2. Bathing attire, cut-off shorts, short shorts, halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, and similar types of recreational wear are not considered proper dress on any BREC golf course.
3. Only non-metal spikes are allowed on all BREC golf courses. Shoes worn on the golf course must be appropriate for golf, as determined by the golf course manager or superintendent.
4. This dress code is required for ALL visitors, golfers, employees, committee, and Commission members.
all private semi/private clubs have their own specific dress code...

Are you trying to troll or serious?
If you’re serious, do you have many friends?

I just got fitted for some long pants. I highly recommend it. I picked up 2mph swing speed.

Shorts are always appropriate but when cold out use long pants. Adidas sells great long pants at $90 each. Fav shorts are Foot Joy.

I agree with him, shorts on the golf course should be outlawed

I only wear Aftco's, they have a pocket for balls, maybe pliers for fishing, perhaps I am in the wrong thread too.
If it makes the OP feel better, I was recently asked to tuck in my shirt from one of the members.

Bet your arse that if you see me walking Webb Park between May and September, I'm wearing gym shorts and a Dri-Fit T-shirt.

I'm hoping you are kidding.
Come over to Central and South Florida in August. Bring your long pants. I'll have 911 on speed dial.

This is a terrible troll job and anyone who wears pants between April and October in south Louisiana is quite possibly stupid..

Is OP the most down voted post in golf board history? Excellent troll job.

Handicap is probably 20+. . . Nothing wrong with that, but you're worried about the wrong things if shorts are what are on your mind on the way to the course. 98% of people you play with are probably trashy if that's the case.
