Dude that's nothing but an attempt to get ahead of the "Biden is giving the Iranians nuclear weapons" problem because they'll have to ratify this treaty in the Senate and They know they aren't going to have that for long.

US launches "defensive" airstrikes in Syria against "Iran-backed groups" to protect US forces still occupying the country -- supposedly to "ensure the defeat of ISIS," which the US declared was defeated three years ago. Gotta love the crystal clear logic
