At least you don't have to worry about tuition increasing.

Community or technical schools, slowly becoming the best form of education now.

Nothing is free.

Every giveaway like this gets paid for by those who pay taxes.

FFS, you are ignorant.

Oh don't you worry, state-sponsored ideology indoctrinators will gladly take the helm (as if they aren't surreptitiously installed already).

my son dropped out of community college his first semester and got trained by diebold to work safe time-locks and now he's almost pushing 6 figures depending on how many safes he does in a day and he's only been out on his own for 2 years.

they even gave him a signing bonus

seems there are alot of specialty gigs out there who are willing to train eager workers.

this has done wonders for his self-esteem after struggling with school.

Oh there’s no doubt. Lots of opportunity out there to learn a gig or trade, without going to school.

That’s always been my take. Free implies no exchange of money, so those poor professors don’t get paid, they work for “free”

More like the creation of a new serf/slave class.

Remember, declaring bankruptcy doesn't stop the payments. People are going to be eaten alive by interest and will do whatever daddy government tells them to do in order to stay above water.

"You'll own nothing and be happy"

"You'll rent everything"

Hard to miss this one.

the bar has now been set as 'will you show up?'

my kid wears a suit to every interview even if its for an autozone gig and that has done wonders for him in the last couple years especially.

The contractor building my house said the same thing yesterday. It's never been easier to shine.

louisiana is set to spend $3,159,702,475 on funding colleges . close down some of the colleges and make the others free. with that budget we could make that happen

probably just free community college. Which isnt a bad idea, either get a trade and work or be better prepared for college.

Im sure I will be downvoted but 2 year community college should be free. Most of it is already paid by pell grants anyways. Would lead to more trade workers
