I was told they wouldn’t lose a game if they had Ewers..

When they get in the SEC they’ll be like Vanderbilt and Missouri. Definitely back…

Ewers is going to be good.
Texas defense needs some work...a lot of work. But yesterday they went up against probably one of the best coaches in the country in Mike Gundy.

Gundy gets more out of less and develops players. Ther's a reason why he's been running the show in Stillwater for 18 years .

Smells like a 6-6 season. Sark definitely on the hot seat next year.

I don’t see them beating Baylor, TCU, K-State. Maybe they’ll get fired up enough to beat arch rival Kansas.

So losing to the 11 ranked team in the country by a touchdown because your QB had an off game is horrible now? This Texas team makes me scratch my head. Ewers going down against bama. Bijan fumbling the ball in overtime at the goal line. And now ewers has a really bad game and they lose again. This team is like 3 plays away from being undefeated.

I think Texas at KU will be an important battle to finish 500 for both teams

Could have easily lost to iowa state last week. Iowa State’s best receiver dropped a walk in TD late in the 4th.

Baylor game goes either way. Baylor has been real hot and cold.

Ewers had one of the more interesting stat lines I’ve seen in a while.

Bad:
19/49
3 Ints

Good:
319 yds
2 TDs

I think they're exactly what their record says they are.

Should they have beaten Bama? Yes. Should they have lost to Iowa State? Yes.

They're a decent team, but not much better than they've shown thus far.

They absolutely should have beat bama and that would be have been huge. This board would say lsu is definitively better than texas and I just don’t see it

They have an offense full of young players. Don't really know what everyone is expecting. They were obviously going to be up and down with that side of the ball being full of sophomores.

Defense is just the typical big 12 defense. Obviously they need to get a lot better.

Next year should be the year for them

Not yet. Next year, they’re definitely back. If not next year, then definitely definitely the year after that. Or maybe the year after the year after that

If by back you mean back outside the Top 25, then yes, yes they are
