I have been to Baton Rouge for several Bama/LSU games and have always had a great time. I encountered the typical drunken student every know and then but that happens everywhere. Overall, everybody was nice, nice campus, awesome stadium, great food, etc. For those of yall who have been to Tuscaloosa for the game, what where your thoughts on your experience? Just interested to see what types of experiences yall had. Heres to a good game, Roll Tide.

I have fun at every away venue. How can you not have fun if you are with your buddies going to a different city to have fun and watch football?

I had a blast both times I was there (2003 and 2005).

Best trip I ever made (i've been to 14 other schools now)
Great folks, great time. Made the trip by myself (2005) because the my buddy had to work literally last minute. Almost didn't go, but glad I did. Even if the score had been different, my opinion would be the same.

I really enjoyed Tuscaloosa. Few bad apples but overall a really fun time. Two kids like 15 years old were behind me talking about how the refs gave us the game last year, thought that was funny. Really pretty campus and probably some of my favorite opponent fans.

I have been four times and have always enjoyed myself. I especially enjoyed when my fraternity brother was arrested for peeing on Denny Chimes. And then he gave them a fake id. And then when we went to the police station to get him we stole the gumball machine out of the police station lobby. And how it had a place of honor in the fraternity house for some time thereafter.
The atmosphere and people have always been great.

We tailgated next to your media building near the frat houses, lucked up and had 4 really cool groups around us, we drove all Friday night to get there...everything was cool, then the backwoods Gumps started to roll in about 2hrs before gametime and were awful...the 4 groups around us really gave it to them and told them to go the hell away...we lost the game, but gained respect for the people we partied with all day...those backwoods Gumps are pretty damn scary...most probably didn't know that Bear Bryant wasn't coach anymore.

I like Tuscaloosa a lot. Great college town. Always have a good time. The 50% or so of the fan base that are good fans are maybe the classiest in the nation. The other 50%.....well, they are fun to jaw with at least.

Every SEC team has "those" fans that nobody wants to claim. Glad to hear of the good experiences though.

Always pretty good except last year.Granted,it was just a few bad apples, but boy, they were rotten.

went last year with some buddies...nice stadium, and we didn't run into any bad fans...they were all great
and the bars are within walking distance of the stadium so that was a huge plus...after the game went eat at some bbq stand around the bar area, which was incredible by the way, and then hung out at the houndstooth until they closed...i remember meeting some huge ex-bama football player who was on the '92 championship team(not sure if that's right)...really nice guy and hung with him for awhile
probably my favorite road trip of the 6 or 7 i've been to

great place to watch a game. i've never had any problems. aside from a few annoying sidewalk alumni in the stadium, the fans are very easy to get along with.

When I was at LSU our fraternity took two road trips to Bama, one in Tuscy and one in B'ham.
We liked the bars in Birmingham, especially that one built into the side of a hill?
We also liked the campus in Tuscaloosa, it looked somewhat like ours with the oaks, big greek houses, lots of shade and leaves, gorgeous women, etec.
B-D was smaller back then, but we had a blast.

Had a decent time when I visited in 2005. Sure was a big-game atmosphere w/ both teams highly ranked and w/ GameDay in town.
We drove in from Birmingham pretty early on gameday, and met up w/ a good crew of Tiger fans who had staked out some prime taligating space on campus.
It was the first time I saw this in person. Hilarious!
Bama fans were friendly enough, and the game sure didn't disappoint.
All in all, a nice time.

I went in '05 and had one of the best times of my life. The night before we hit up almost every soroity house cuz there were huge parties everywhere. I thought T-Town was absolutely gorgeous and I was pretty blown away how awesome it was.

Other than the scum that liked to toss Katrina jokes, around T-Town was a blast.

I've been three times now and everytime I go it only gets better. I would rank Tuscaloosa a close 2nd behind Athens for SEC towns that I have been to. Everytime I go, I hit up the Pita Pit atleast twice a day
