Luke Johnson used to tweet it out when he was on the beat. But that was also under a different head coach. I don't remember seeing it at all last year.

Could be contained in the game notes, not sure if they've come out for this weekend yet.

Is it still only 27 players even with the expanded rosters allowed this year still?

I checked there (they are out), but the travel roster isn't in there unfortunately.

I did see that Jason Bollman is back off the roster. I know he wasn't expected to pitch this year due to injury, I wonder if he's now no longer expected here next year.

Only thing I remember was a tweet when a specific player did not make the trip.

Did you find the 27 players that traveled to TAMU?

I found out why the travel roster was not available for the A&M series last weekend. Coach Johnson does not allow it to be made available to the public. He gave several reasons for this but I attribute it primarily to his dislike of giving the opposition any advantages. Also found out that all players can travel and take part in all pre and post game activities: Dress out, batting and fielding practice, etc., but not enter the actual game.

Interesting. I did not know that.

So there’s no way to determine who is on the 27 man roster unless 27 kids play in the series.

Leah Vann tweeted this on Saturday.

Pitchers that did not travel for LSU:
-Jaden Noot
-Kaleb Applebey
-Nic Bronzini
-DJ Primeaux
-Javen Coleman

Grant Taylor traveled, but in an arm brace of course. #LSU

As far as guys in the field… Zeb Ruddell didn’t travel— Jay discussed the possibility of him redshirting a few weeks ago. #LSU

You could ask a player who was eligible to play. I don't like this method. Other than that, you could determine who was not present for a partial list.

I don’t remember if it was on one of the broadcasts last week but someone said Johnson may bring extra players, play it close to the vest, and not release it until it has to be turned in just prior to the first game. The best bet on any given weekend is probably to hope a reporter gets a picture of a lineup card.

I don’t see any competitive advantage in fooling the other coach about which of your worst players are not available. My guess is that he keeps it secret out of consideration for the players who are off the list.

No doubt selecting 27 to activate is a tough assignment and one Johnson probably goes into in depth.

Since you can travel with more than 27 players, are the 27 players set for the whole weekend or re-set for each game?

For example say Skenes pitches on Friday, can he be taken off the 27 man roster for Sat and we put someone else on it?

No, in SEC play you have to declare your 27 in advance and it remains static the entire weekend.
