I really do. I know some people don't, or don't believe he will etc etc.

But I want to watch this dude play basketball.

I want him back on this team so when he does play, there is no excuse. If we still suck, major roster changes need to happen.

And if we don't necessarily suck, we can see what roster changes DO need to happen regardless.

But most of all, I'd like SOMETHING about this team to be exciting.

Same

Having that hope and having it crushed is still better than never having any hope at all.

But yea, I just wanna see him play. That's it, not muc more to it.

4 years of Zion and not a single season with a winning record is rough. Next year is the make or break year. If we're in the same position next year for whatever reason, it's time to tear it all down in some form or fashion.

I'm with you. I hope if we make the playoffs, Zion is not only playing, but that he's played a handful of games so he's more ready for it all. Either way, I want to watch this team play HEALTHY and let it play out.

It's just so damn hard to fully evaluate the roster when he's on the bench so much. How do you make moves and plan for the long term with his availability always a question mark?

Well, yeah. The absolutely best outcome for the team is still for the team to make the postseason and for Zion to get the experience of playing in it.

I know people post some angry rants, and some post negativity out of cope, but I hope that no one seriously disagrees with this.

So you’re a Pelicans fan and you would like Zion to play?? Not really a hot take there. But we do really need to see how this roster does when Zion, BI and CJ all play together.

So do I but he won’t unless they make the playoffs.

I mean of course.

On the other hand, I’m not emotionally stable to handle Zion coming back, looking good for a couple games and is still missing the playoffs because of the Houston collapse.

We should already know what we need, and that’s more 3 point shooting.

It’s the reason Sacto is so good this year, they just jack up 3’s and outgun you.

Trade Herb for a shooter, add the best shooter we can in the draft, and tell Ingram if he doesn’t start taking more 3’s over his contested midrange shots, then we’re going to ship him out at the deadline next season also
