And that shite makes me sick. This FO look like a bunch of fools. There is no chip to be had with this team. They will never be healthy they have shown it.

And we just lost a key part of that trade with them winning yesterday and us losing today.

it's better than our title... this team will NEVER even come close to getting to a title... not as presently constructed, that's for damn sure

AD forced his way there, there was no “winning” it for the Pels. But we did get some talent out of it and still have some chips to play with.

The only reason we aren’t a 1/2 seed is because of Zion’s immaturity. This roster is good enough.

Well, we didn’t really have a choice but to trade him.

Package we got in return wasn’t horrid. I’d do it again given our leverage (or lack thereof) in the situation.

Considering he forced his way to where he wanted to go I think getting BI plus Hart, Ball and picks was a pretty good deal.

They kinda did.

They got an NBA championship out of it.

Lakers won what...they got what was a top 5 player at the time to pair with Lebron...won one bullshite title and had to get gifted a trade to make the playoffs this season...you are in LA and no one wants to play with you

BI alone might be the 3rd best player in Pelican/Hornet history

When we traded AD we had no potential and no future.

Name a time in our history where without our best player for most of the year we would be a playoff caliber team...because we have done it in back to back seasons now.

I know the Zion situation is frustrating but you have an All Star that wants to be here in BI, a borderline all star in CJ, a budding All star in Trigger, an all NBA defender in Herb, a solid bench with Lance, Jose, Naji....you still have a draft warchest

If Zion wants out...this team still has potential...obviously the best outcome is Zion growing the frick up and taking his job/profession/craft seriously and rewarding the franchise, fans, and teammates that have supported him thus far

But this is far from our darkest days

Did they? Yeah they got their bubble title, but they’ll probably get swept by the Grizz and have been pretty pathetic every year since. I would argue AD has been injured more in LA than he was in NOLA. I still think we may out pretty well in that trade but yes you can blame Griff for some draft busts and stupid trades afterwards.

Imagine if AD would’ve stayed and no Laker picks or players were added. Now imagine both AD & Zion being injured at the same time for the past 4 years.

Starting lineup tonight would’ve looked pretty trippy with Jrue Holiday, ET Moore Darius Miller, Christian Wood, & Julius Randle.

They're going to lose the Zion trade too, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't trade him.

The Pelicans need players not guys taking up roster spots in street clothes.

We won the trade, but botched the assets. If we take Garland at 4, it is as one sided as a trade gets
