I know this name/idea has been brought up in the past, but Im willing to trade JV and POTENTIALLY two first rounders to get this guy.

Willie doesnt play JV right anyways. Turner is 28 and in his prime. He just got extended too. Im willing to overpay aka 2 first rounders. (If they take 1 first, hell yeah)

You are trading JV, the 2023 Pick, and either Kira or Dyson for Nic Claxton or Myles Turner. It may require more picks than just one.

You are then praying for Health. (Maybe sign Naz Reid)

Myles
Zion
Trey
BI
Herb

CJ
Jose
Kira or Dyson
Larry
EJ or (Naz Reid)

EJ (if Naz Reid is on the team)
Willy (If no Naz Reid)
Naji
Seabron (2 Way)

Don't see Indy trading him after extending him.

That extension was pretty team friendly to try and trade him in the future. It’s only 2 years

For Myles Turner? Your're out of your damn mind.

That's what it's going to take, maybe even a little more. Indy and Brooklyn don't need to trade their centers so you're going to have to give them an offer they can't refuse.

I'm personally against it because it's too much to pay for a lateral move. I might consider it for Claxton because he's younger and rebounds better and the team does need to get a center Willie will play, but I'm hoping they have some quality under the radar targets to go after instead.

If Griff does feel desperate, maybe we'll get lucky like with Lowry et al. Griff tries to make all kinds of bad value deals this summer, and then a better solution presents itself in season.

Thing is that Turner inflated his offensive stats this year on a bad team. His defense is maybe average but not great. He is an excellent shot blocker. Do not see him being worth JV and 2 1sts.

Magen you’re probably not going to get him. The trade market has been kinda insane.

Myles Turner is more of an idea than a great player. That being said, I’m not sure JV and two firsts even gets him. And I see no way you go further.

That's fine. No need to overpay for a 5.

I plugged in JV/Kira for Turner in the trade machine and it wasn’t close to working salary-wise. Maybe it just needs to flip to the new League year this summer, but I don’t want give up any rotation players other than JV if I’m giving up a pick or 2. Turner is an upgrade, but he’s not a MASSIVE upgrade.

No reason the Pacers would entertain that

I doubt they'd even consider it for 2 1sts.

It would certainly require more than 1, and likely more than 2.

I can’t see anyone giving up more than a starter and two first round picks, including one being a late lottery pick, for Claxton or Turner. Both have their limitations. I don’t see why we would trade that much for guys who have not proven that they impact winning in significant ways. I’d like Claxton more than Turner, but that price is steep.

I'd Jval has all these limitations, then why would either team trade younger players for just one 1st?

Is it time to bring back Karlo Matkovic from Europe and throw him into the mix?

Jax and Billy could be gone this summer. If the Pels pick up a more mobile center starter, how about JV and Larry coming off the bench, with Karlo as a third big center-in-training?
