Ok. I wondered why they had crackers there. I thought they were used at refineries.

They are. Those are probably related to distillate separation not cracking or refining anything. It looks to me like a compression plant nothing more.

Not even close. They are likely amine units to remove sulfur from the raw gas. Maybe glycol dehydration to remove water. Regardless that looks like old tinker toy equipment

Cat crackers and hydrocrackers are in refineries. Some old ones have thermal crackers.

No. They are distillation towers. We manufacture them. I assume you are talking about cryogenic gas plants. There are plenty of gas plants that do amine sweetening or glycol dehydration. For those, the tower is the contactor, in which the amine/glycol is dropped in the top and the natural gas comes from the bottom.

It's a tinker toy gas fractionation plant capacity of 1MM SCFD. 5 years ago it was operating at half that capacity. I have to guess that the two columns are a deethanizer and depropanizer. Methane and ethane sent via pipeline, propane and heavier in the one lone bullet tank, as LPG

this is correct
too skinny to be an amine unit or a glycol tower

I dated a girl one time that bragged about being from there.
She was cute but we were relatives so it didn't last.
