I'm a conservative influenced by thinkers such as Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk and Leo Strauss. Over the years I have become increasingly disappointed by just how stupid the GOP party base is. It has got to be up there as the dumbest in the world. The left is extremely intelligent at strategy, wielding power and controlling the narratives. The right would rather cater to low IQ mouth breathers. What is the solution?

1. There are really dumb people in both bases. That's a non-differentiator.
2. Don't confuse the left's commitment to their agenda and lockstep discipline with being more intelligent. They for sure have less character and universally buy into the idea that the means is justified by the ends. But generally I think you may be giving them too much credit.
When you don't mind blatantly lying, and when Hollywood, academia, and the MSM all carry your water for you it's a whole hell of a lot easier to "control a narrative."
It's actually a testament to how weak they really are that they ever lose an election, frankly.
Put those three influencers in my pocket like they are in the left's and I would engineer a domination by the right that would make their work look like a Chinese fire drill.

Right...but that's exactly the problem.
While The Right was off ignoring (and continue to ignore) pop culture as silly and stupid, The Left was taking it all over. The reason we don't have those influencers is because we were too full of ourselves to recognize the importance of entertainment, and just walked away from it.
Phrase it however you'd like, but that was brilliant on their part to not walk away form the field we'd completely ceded to them.
Now we sit around and bitch about idiot entertainers (and they are) influencing other idiots to vote Democrats...when we literally sat back and allowed them to do it in front of our eyes while we ignored it all because it was "stupid" to care about that stuff.

Revisionist history. Large factions of Hillary vs Bernie fans were fighting each other and refusing to consolidate after a winner was crowned.

Any idiot that believes there is a right and a left who are opposing each other should jump off a cliff before criticizing the other side. They both play their parts and neither has the interest of the people behind their actions. Say what you will about Trump but he exposed this. The right had a man the voters supported at a record level and they turned on him. Does that sound like the party is really a party carrying out their constiuents wants? We live in an oligarchy. Its just hidden behind a controlled media and rigged elections.

look, the fact you say "no" proves my point. They marched through the institutions slowly, while also painting themselves as the "workers party". They allowed the GOP to become sycophants to the religious right and waited for their payoff. That came last summer and it's this centuries prohibition. Not to mention this comes at a time where they've basically peeled off the high propensity Bush Suburban voters.

Not sure. The concentration of power on the left is enormous now. It has been culminating over the last few decades and made some of its greatest strides under the 16 years of W and Obama which were absolutely a death knell for conservatism. It may be too late and too insurmountable now.
Maybe move to a small town and try to limit your contact with the outside nation.
Destroying the Republican Party is probably necessary.
Until the Republicans learn to fight dirty like Democrats and are willing to do so like Democrats, they will lose. Republican Party is being changed from the ground up now but the old guard of the GOP has to be cleaned out.
