They both keep playing hard even when the 3 isn't falling. It's a breath of fresh air.

Imagine when we have Trey BI and Jose in the rotation too. Please lord keep the injury bug away and get these guys back. I want to see this team playing healthy.

Hawkins played 37 with a +17. Pretty encouraging even if his shot wasn’t falling.

Pels likely don’t win without Hawkins and that’s saying something despite him not scoring well.

Love Hawkins he’s always moving even without the ball. Ryan’s passing IQ has been very suprsing he sees the court well and makes good decisions

His defense has been the most surprising thing for me. His effort is undeniable.

Ryan playing good defense is a suprise. Really shows defense is mostly effort.

In the regular season yes its mostly effort that being said there’s a beauty and talent to the way Herb plays. His defense is more than just effort.

It was probably his biggest plus coming in, maybe more than the shooting.

It’s pretty refreshing to see, especially when we have some guys that seem to barely ever move on either end.

I was comparing him to Peja, only better on defense, because just like Peja they NEVER stop working on offense (and Hawkins plays like that on defense as well).

Do people not remember how great of a shooter peja was?

Not knocking Ryan or Hawkins but they aren’t peja on offense, not even close.

Peja was one of a kind, no doubt.
But Hawkins and Ryan are giving us what we need now. I’m stoked…

Ryan is on a two way for a reason.

Hawkins looks like a nice pick.
