We are slipping, Warriors and Lakers are rising.

Same story different verse, it is so frustrating with the amount of depth on this team that our rotations and plays are this bad.

Put on a fresh set of panties and lighten up, Francis.

The Pacers game was set up for a loss with the scheduled road back to back with the Pacers coming in with multiple days off. The way the NBA scheduling is set up this is going to happen.

agreed. No team in the league wants a fresh Pacers team on the 2nd of a back to back, especially with the plane issues. I'm actually surprised that they made it somewhat competitive in the 4th.

We’ve won 6/10 and 9/15

Seems like we are maintaining what we’ve been doing all year

“Rotations and plays”? We missed a couple of shots and pacers scored on the other end.

I guess any time the particular guys on the floor are outscored, you can the rotations are shitty”, but that doesn’t mean much.

Or...any time the rotations are shitty, that's when the rotations are shitty. That means something.

With 22 games left, they'd have to go 15-7 to get 50 wins. If they don't get their shite together, they ain't getting a top 6 seed.

2-3 since the all star break ain't going cut it if this continues.

I'm not mad about last nights loss at all. One of the few games this year that I chalked up as a loss before it began. They had no shot at being even semi fresh after the plane delays. You could tell almost the whole team was dragging and they still were in it until the last minute. That's not a bad loss by any means.

If Naji doesn't make three boneheaded turnovers in a row we might have actually tied the game up and had a shot at a win. All three were when we had momentum going.

The hate on Willie from last night was kind of unjustified too. He coached a nice game and kept us in it by having multiple defensive strategies that were clearly throwing them off. Antonio Daniels was complementing him all throughout the game because of how he was mixing it up on the defensive end. But the board knows better than AD and will use a lazy rotations argument and that he needs to be fired because of rotations while ignoring literally everything else.

Us being mad about no Matt Ryan isn't lazy. He's been shooting 55% from 3 and we're on a b2b. What coach doesn't play him?

I'm not saying wanting Matt Ryan to play is a lazy take, but that doesn't mean that he had shitty rotations. That's not giving a guy PT that you want to get PT. Val was getting roasted and was obviously a bad matchup and he yanked him out and gave pretty much all his minutes to Larry, which was a major rotational move that was smart. He had rotations that set up Myles Turner for abuse, which doesn't happen often. We went longer stretches than I can remember having Hawk and Trey play with Zion that was creating great shots. The way he staggered Zion was well executed, and like I say, his defensive scheme was top notch.

Yes, he didn't play Matt Ryan, but that doesn't mean he coached a shitty game. Willie by no means was the reason we lost that game, he was the reason a completely gassed team was able to stay in the game.

That was probably the worst decision Willie made last night IMO.

I like Zion at the 5 minutes as the "backup" 5. But Nance is playing so poorly that there is no world IMO where we should be going matchup dependent between Nance/Val. It should ALWAYS be Val over Nance.

On a B2B against a team that plays 5 is a great time to slow it down...play through Jonas more.

We got crushed on the boards, 14-5 in offensive rebounds. That doesn't happen if Val is swapped for Nance.

But again, the original point is Val is better than Nance in any matchup I can realistically think of right now, so it should have been Zion/Val instead of Zion/Nance getting minutes at the 5 last night.

I get that you can point to Val played 7 minutes and went -14...well the entire starting lineup was in the minus in double digits due to the slow start, so that certainly was not just because Val was so bad...they were all bad in those minutes.

If not that, Naji getting 28 minutes and running an iso in the final 5 minutes was a sight to behold. In a game where we needed more offense to win(our ORtg for the game was a paltry 112) at no point in those 28 minutes with 4 turnovers(40%% of the teams turnovers) and 0 FG attempts did WIllie think that a guy who is going to get shots up in droves and hits 3s at a great clip would be the better play?
