I made it through 6 episodes of season 1, just to join in the fun of ridiculing it. I don't even feel like doing that for this. They benefit from the engagement anyway.

Love LOTR(books and films) and especially the Hobbit(book)..this show just broke immersion for me in that world right away. Ill probably watch more of Nerdrotic making fun of it than the actual show.

I've never read a Lord of the Rings book. I enjoyed season 1, and that trailer looked great to me. Looking forward to it.
I can definitely understand i'm in the minority though, and i feel like a dumbass new star wars fan liking this, but for someone who has no knowledge of what should or supposed to happen, i've liked the story thus far.

The trailer is so good it almost made me forget how fricking awful season 1 was. Looks like a whole hearted course correction but probably too little too late.

Yea I mean the source is near and dear to me and season 1 strayed so far I can't go back. But, that trailer looks bad arse I'm not going to lie and if I had never read the books I would probably be all in. It looks like as far as visuals go, there isn't going to be much that could be hated on, it looks pretty stunning.

Seems like Galadriel is being fooled and knows she's being fooled but just can't resist because his influence is so strong?
I can't believe they are going to have barrow wights. They look creepy as hell too. I might have to watch an episode to catch the barrow wights, that's one thing I've always wanted to see on screen.

The Nerd of The Rings guy did an epic 32 minute breakdown of the trailer where he breaks down every single shot of the trailer and speculates and makes predictions..
I'm looking forward to the show. It's not great, but it's still high-budget Tolkien, which is something I'll always watch. It is what it is.

Eh. I don't hate it like others here (or hate watch for that matter). But, I thought Season 1 was incredibly slow to develop and outside of the visuals I just got bored with it. I don't have a pressing desire to watch Season 2.

I rewatched season 1 and it’s much better if you skip the Harfoot scenes. The score may be my favorite part, but I’m also biased towards Bear McCreary because of Black Sails.

If you don’t like it, think it is blasphemous, and makes no fricking sense, then according to the radical Left, then you’re a racist.
