Lots of people keep a journal. I don’t but it’s not uncommon.

There are some theories/accounts that his method acting playing the Joker is what put him over the edge and led to his death. This is further evidence.

Not true. According to everyone there he was only in character during takes, and was just himself in makeup when not filming. Apparently joking around and overall a nice guy - far from the gloom demented character actor schtick that everyone has attributed to his death. Dark Knight wasn’t even the last movie he shot before he died.

From what we can see I don’t really see this as a journal in the traditional sense. This seems more like a pile of notes or a study guide to work on the character. It might seem creepy because of the character he’s playing but this seems more like a guy committed to his craft.
