That sounds amazing. I’m looking for recipes with lower sugar, so going with the countreau and lime juice sounds like a better option

Acasa serrano pepper margarita mix. If you are in Houston I highly recommend you give it a try.

Pretty much this. I double the tequila and lime but leave the sweetness as is.

I go back and forth between simple syrup and agave, whatever I have on hand. It doesn't change the outcome at all

My go to tequila is Espolon, but using something like Patron or Don Julio tastes better, obviously

For me it’s simply:

Reposado tequila
Fresh squeezed lime
Grand Marnier
No salt

It's an easy drink to make. Don't F it up with mixes and other crap

2oz of a decent blanco or reposado
1oz Cointreu
1oz fresh lime juice
(add a quick splash of nectar if you like it a little sweeter)

Shake, rim glass with salt, pour, drink, take your pants off

Try the top shelf spicy one on the rocks at the new Patio restaurant in BR. They use Tajin on the rim
