My thoughts on the Kamala interview

I didn’t watch the whole interview. Just saw some clips on X
Dana bash asked some of the obvious questions. That’s nice but they lacked follow up. It was as if she just asked the questions so she could say she asked them. The answers, some of which were clearly nonsense, begged follow up and bash lacked the awareness to round out the question.
The question about the Biden phone call seemed uncomfortable for Kamala. The cackle was a tell. She seemed disingenuous. I didn’t believe that her first thought was not herself.
I got a wierd vibe from a Walz. It looked like he was uncomfortable with Kamala. In some shots he appeared like her uncle there to guide her.
Overall Kamala lacked gravitas. She isn’t a heavy weight and it showed. Her voice, and her diminutive size are nothing she can control but she needs to work on her style to overcome these physical deficiencies.

It wasn’t an interview. It was a political add.

I thought she did pretty good being that she has an IQ of 85

Sounds weak sauce all around.

When she kept her hands on the table, crossed and not moving... she started clenching her mouth. Like it was physically unbearable for her to not mindlessly wave her hands around like a baby waving a rattle.

She's so strong and independent that she needed an old, white male there as an emotional support animal for her softball-ish interview.
For the Dem shills, yes I'll vote for our (politically) "convicted felon" over the soft weakness your party is running any day of the week.

She lacks more than that. Even in a friendly guided and scripted interview her answers were sloganeering and lacked substance. Dana at one time had to push for a policy. Kamala comes off as an empty vessel. She might as well just say, 'I don't know and I don't give a frick. I'm not going to be making those decisions anyway. Everything will be fine. Just vote for me."

My
Kamala is a freaking Idiot
Walz is a closet fig, I bet he hates her but is licking her arse to promote his career. He's a sneaky lying piece of trash.
I beg the American people to see through this pile of shite scam and vote TRUMP.

There’s a reason her own campaign in ‘20 failed to capture any great support or momentum and fizzled out very early.
I doubt any of those fundamental things with regards to how she comes across have changed but she’s now been installed as the Dem candidate by virtue of being Joe’s Veep and aside from holding that current position, really is in this race now without having had to earn it.
The political machine behind her is going to do most all the heavy lifting and try and have her do as little as possible because again, nothing has fundamentally changed with who she is or how she comes across.
I think even with the minimal she’s being asked to do, she’s still aware of the tremendous pressure and expectations in serving as the face of the Party and I think shows.
Like an actor who only has to follow a script but still has to fight stage fright when the spotlight gets turned on.

It was a train wreck.
She’s not a serious person. Walz looked like the wet noodle he is.

Imagine interviewing for CEO position and bringing a spotter.

The guy has held a cock in his mouth before and I don't mean the good way where it's your own

She was giving Kamala a multiple choice questionnaire, feeding her answers, and Kamala was too dumb to even stay on topic long enough to reply with any kind of direct answer. Democrats traded senility for outright stupidity.

I agree with Vivek. Kamala is a controllable puppet rather than an idealogue who pushes an agenda.
She does what is politically expedient to further her political ambition.

I’ve noticed that Walz sucks all of the oxygen out of the room when he is around Kamala. His theatrics and mannerisms steal her thunder in rallies. During the interview last night, I saw that he was seated higher and closer to the cameras than Kamala. That is horrible optics, or maybe that is by design. I’m not sure. He also appeared far “fresher” than Kamala, even though he has that white, receding hair thing.
I think it is part of the overall strategy of Democrats: distance Kamala from her own campaign. Walz is a sideshow meant to distract.

It was pure propaganda. No surprise.

Extremely uncomfortable, deer in the headlights vibe. Not anywhere near up to the task or qualified. Dana would ask her a question and give her a choice of answers before she would respond. What real journalists does that? Even then she would wander off in the woods with word salads. Clearly trying to do what it takes to get the win and then will flip back to her original positions and will say "I'm sticking to my values like I said".

How can anyone trust her? How can anyone trust the democratic party? They'd been actively lying about the health of our sitting president for at least 2 years before finally overthrowing him in a hostile takeover.
Does anyone really believe she's a good choice to lead the country- as they are insisting? Now she wants everyone to believe she's always had the same policies- despite flipping on nearly every single one of them in the last 2 weeks. She's a shameless liar- and a bad one, at that.
If this woman wins this election, the degrading of America will continue.
She's a effing dud at best, folks. A total fabrication.
Rant over for now.

I remember Dems stating that George Bush lacked "gravitas".
They don't talk about "gravitas" anymore...
and Quayle is no longer thought of as the least consequential VP since Biden and Harris have been VP.
