I thought Netflix dropped a Matt McMahon documentary.

Mr. McMahon: Most Boring Coach in America.

I kid. I kid. I wish the best for CMM, just miss the General.

unfortunately probably another netflix doc where they paid heavily to get the subject but at the cost of telling a very watered down version of the story.

I'm curious about how Vince went from announcer to muscled up guy who challenged Stone Cold Steve Austin. I never could get over the Vince I saw as a kid turning into a jacked up CEO that would dare challenge Stone cold

Whatever happened to that gal that was all their office whore?

Did any better pics of her come out? I find it hard to believe there’s only one, G rated, pic of her that exists.

Wonder if they'll bring up him and Shawn Michaels supposedly having more than a close relationship

Interested in seeing, as a kid growing up in the 90s and the peak of wrestling... But god, he looks awful at this point. Almost corpse like.

Vince inherited the company from his father. He came up in the business and being an announcer was just part of it. Once he took over, he was the driving force behind the reshaping of professional wrestling as he pretty much put all of the old territories out of business by buying out their top names.

I think Vince was always pretty buff, but it was hidden by his suits. Even in old WWWF interviews you can see he's likely in good shape if you pay attention.

Well homie it was fake so I don't think he was that worried about stone cold killing him or anything.

The funny thing is, Vince has admitted his father NEVER would’ve sold him WWF if he knew what Vince’s plans actually were. It’s crazy to think about now, but the idea of a national wrestling promotion was downright preposterous at that time. Those old school wrasslin’ bookers were as protective of their territories as they were of kayfabe back then.

The short amount of time it took McMahon to do this was even crazier. He buys WWF in 1982, decides he’s going to build the entire thing around Hulk Hogan and poaches him from the AWA around the same time, and by 1987, Wrestlemania III takes place with 90k fans in Detroit, and basically his only competition left is WCW and the corpse of the NWA.

All the hard work and effort McMahon put into making wrestling the spectacle it is today, only to flush his entire legacy down the toilet at the end by being a creepy old pervert

CHEAP creepy older pervet. Fixed it for you. If he had just paid the agreement out sounds like this may have never been a thing known to the public. That’s what is crazy to me. We are talking a drop in the bucket to him in terms of momey.

Depending on who you ask, Vince Sr may have known what would happen and went along with it for a few reasons, including the fact he was dying of cancer.

He wasn’t going to be there to deal with the fallout of his friends like Eddie Graham losing their livelihoods due to this.
