If you told me the saints scored 47 and Olave only had 2 catches for 11 yds I’d have assumed he got hurt in the first quarter.

Was Carr just using him as a decoy ? Will he be more involved in the offense after this week? Something doesn’t seem to add up today.

Didn’t really need him. The Saints ran the ball well and the defense continued to give the offense short fields

If you watched the game, you saw him all over the place.

Panthers decided to take him away which opened up other stuff.

He made a great block late in the game on a kamara screen. That stood out to me more than anything because he didn't get the ball very much.

He had one of the better corners in the league on him and everyone else was catching the ball.

Looked to me like they put Horn wherever we moved Olave, and then shifted safety coverage that direction to take him away. We took advantage of that big time.

There was some really creative formations. The Johnson TD they had Olave lined up kinda tight on the right, Johnson tight as a TE, AK out wide on the left, Carr in Shotgun with Rasheed behind him as a RB and Taysom lined up along side Carr.

Loved it

If he is ‘missing’ and we win by 10+ every game then that’s what you go with. Dude made some nice blocks yesterday and was a good decoy

Cmon .

Was a play where Shaheed caught and ran. Olave came over to help him up and he was tapping his chest as in "my bad". Two plays latter the announcers were complimenting him on his block springing a long run.

Maybe he had a good game but stats don't show it.

The Johnson TD

That was a great chalkboard play. And just the reason many are a just a little more optimistic than the last few 'pete' years.

I loved what I saw of the offense. I don't care that it was against Carolina.

We are going to have bad games and we won't be as good as we are yesterday, but it was at least modern, interesting and fun.

You get the ball to the players who are open. The panthers probaly had
him doubled so Carr went to the open guy.Good offense plays to the
mismatch something pete didnt do.

Olave is an absolute DIVA. When he is not being targeted, he takes plays off, run's his routes with minimum effort, and sulks like a little girl.

He needs to grow tf up and learn how to be a member of the team.

They definitely needed to work Foster Moreau more into the passing game

Carr loves to throw to him

Looks like Kubiak is even better than advertised

Even Jamaal had a good day!
